Newtown Festival - Stage Coordinator for Girls Rock Pōneke stage

July 2019 - Present

In this role I am curating a line-up for a stage at Newtown Festival consisting of

female, trans and non-binary musicians from throughout New Zealand

 

Girls Rock Pōneke, Wellington - Coordinator

 August 2018 – Present 

As a coordinator, my jobs included but were not limited to: 

- Creating and running a Boosted Crowdfunding Campaign 

- Writing documents for press releases and other media

- Organising bands to perform daily throughout the holiday programme 

- Liaising with other coordinators in Girls Rock! Aotearoa 

- Organising and running workshops  

- Acting as a band mentor for young people aged 13-14 

- Connecting with organisations to collaborate  

- Communicating with instrument instructors 

- Securing the venue for the programme

- Creating content for social media

 

Wakefield Hospital, Wellington - Receptionist 

February 2017 – Present 

Based at the main reception at Wakefield Hospital my duties included:

- Answering incoming phone calls and responding accordingly

- Creating, updating and archiving patient files    

- Answering emails in a timely manner 

- Admitting patients to the Hospital in a friendly and professional manner

- Filing operation notes and results in patient files 

- Taking payments and creating receipts 

- Checking in guests to the hospital accommodation

Working in Insurance law, my duties included:  

- Opening, organising and maintaining documents and case files   

- Scheduling appointments and keeping up to date calendars and diaries
